Car Rental Terms & Conditions

To make car rental in Baku with Vip Rent as simple, clear and convenient as possible, we recommend reviewing the main rental terms in advance. Below you will find the current list of requirements and conditions for car rental.

1. 📄 Required documents

• Valid driving license 🚘 (detailed requirements can be found here 🔗)
• International passport 🛂
• In some cases — an international driving permit 🌍

2. 🎂 Driver age and driving experience

• Minimum driver age: 24 years 👦
• Maximum driver age: 65 years 👴
• Minimum driving experience: from 2 years 🚦
• Note: Some vehicles may be available for drivers aged from 21 or over 65 years old under the condition of an increased excess and double security deposit. Please check details with Vip Rent managers 📞

3. 💰 Payment terms and security deposit

• Accepted payment methods: debit card 💳, credit card 💳, bank transfer 🏦, cashless payment and cash 💵.
• The security deposit can be paid by debit card, credit card, bank transfer or in cash.
• Deposit amount:
  • Standard vehicles: from 300 AZN 🪙
  • Premium-class vehicles: up to 3500 AZN 💎
• Deposit refund:
  • Cash deposit — refunded on the same day after vehicle inspection. ✅
  • Card deposit — refunded within 3 to 30 business days. ⏳
• Payment procedure: a prepayment of 20–30% is required to confirm the booking. The remaining rental amount and deposit are paid upon vehicle pickup. 📝
• Deductions from the deposit may apply in case of vehicle damage 🔧, traffic fines 👮‍♂️, insufficient fuel level ⛽ or other violations of the rental agreement. ⚠️

4. 🛡️ Insurance

✅ STANDARD INSURANCE (included in the rental price)

📌 Covers basic insurance risks. In case of an insured event, the renter’s liability is limited to the установлен excess.
